Lease Value Comparison ("the App," "we," "us") is operated by Ryan Skove. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign in, we collect the email address associated with your Google account or the email and password you provide directly. We use Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to manage sign-in securely — we do not store your password ourselves.
Lease comparison data. When you save a comparison, we store the vehicle details you enter (name, MSRP, down payment, monthly payment, lease term, mileage allowance) along with the calculated results, linked to your account email so you can view saved comparisons later.
Email delivery. If you save a comparison, a summary email is sent to your account email using Resend, our email delivery provider. We do not send marketing or promotional emails.
How We Use Your Information
- To let you save and retrieve your lease comparisons
- To send you a copy of your results by email, when requested
- To maintain and improve the App's functionality
We do not sell your information. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed below, who process it only on our behalf.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and data storage
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each provider has its own privacy practices governing how they handle data on our behalf.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your saved comparisons remain in our system until you delete them or request account deletion. To request that your account and associated data be deleted, contact us at hello@carleasevalue.com.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
